One thing I quickly learned about Home Assistant<\/a> is that\u00a0the more data you feed it, the more intelligent it can be. When I saw BRUH Automation’s DIY Multisensor<\/a> I knew that would be a way to get a whole lot of info without spending a whole lot of money. I already borrowed heavily from this multi-sensor to build my MQTT Doorbell<\/a> by adding a small sensor module that’s taped to the top of the doorbell enclosure. I also knew that if I could make it less obtrusive, I could improve the WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) by a good bit so off I went.
